Khalid Talukder, co-founder, DKK Partners

Khalid Talukder is co-founder of DKK Partners, a leading provider of foreign exchange (FX) services to banks and businesses in emerging and frontier markets.

With over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, working for UBS, Citi and Deutsche Bank, Khalid specialises in managing high growth companies.

In his role as co-founder of DKK, he has overseen the company’s rapid expansion, which includes reaching revenues of over $100m and opening offices across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Khalid is also committed to ensuring that DKK operates as a profitable but also ethical business. The company regularly conducts charitable initiatives and fundraising, including donating a five-figure sum to Shelter, the charity which tackles homelessness in the UK.

In addition to mentoring and community outreach work, Khalid frequently speaks at high profile events including Parliamentary summits and think tanks about the future of the fintech industry.

Dominic Duru, co-founder, DKK Partners

Dominic Duru is a season banking industry veteran, leading financial services and FX programmes internationally, with a specific focus on the African market.

With nearly a decade of experience working at Citi, Dominic teamed up with Khalid to launch DKK Partners, overseeing the company’s operations, staffing and strategic direction. In this role, Dominic has launched several new offices for DKK, including Ghana and Cameroon, with many more openings in the pipeline.

As in addition to leading with operations, Dominic assists with DKK’s compliance strategy. He works closely with compliance house Bovill to ensure all of the company’s operations meet the highest standards of regulatory requirements.

Sandip Sen, Board Advisor, DKK Partners

Sandip Sen is an FX industry veteran who is a former Managing Director of Citi after almost three decades at the tier 1 bank. He serves as a board advisor to the DKK management team, providing insight and consultancy into the company’s international expansion strategy.

In his role, Sandip is tasked with developing the company’s FX capabilities and services in emerging markets, providing strategic direction to the DKK management team as it prepares to announce further office openings across Africa and the Middle East, in addition to its Mayfair headquarters.

Matthew Elliott, Board Advisor, DKK Partners

Matthew Elliott is one of the UK’s foremost public policy thinkers and campaigners, having overseen two nationwide referendum campaigns, working alongside prime ministers and cabinet ministers at the very top of the government.

He has deep insight into economic trends, providing insight and recommendations for international businesses and developing business strategies for the future of the financial services industry.

He provides strategic counsel for DKK’s growth ambitions, including providing market intelligence and consultancy to ensure the brand has a truly global reach.

Erkin Oksel, Board Advisor, DKK Partners

Erkin Oksel spent over 11 years leading Citi’s digital strategy and international transaction processes. Educated at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Erkin has extensive experience overseeing the expansion of international financial services companies. He is also fully accredited in international cash management.

His business experience includes founding EyesClear, a leading specialist in helping clients combat fraud, compliance, and other cross-border payment risks. The company has been frequently recognised a leading regtech provider by several industry awards programmes.

His role at DKK includes bringing his extensive experience working in global transaction technology as well as advising around risk and compliance strategy.
